Dr. Benny Fernandez
Medical Director and Psychiatrist
Dr. Benny Fernandez is a board-certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist with 32 years of clinical experience and one of the most credentialed private practice psychiatrists in San Antonio.
Trained at UT Health San Antonio in both general and child and adolescent psychiatry, he spent more than two decades as Chief Medical Officer at one of San Antonio's major psychiatric hospitals. He brings that same standard of clinical excellence to every TMS treatment plan he designs.
He holds the distinction of Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and Distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, two of the highest honors in his field.
At Alamo Heights NeuroWellness, Dr. Fernandez personally oversees every patient's treatment protocol. His involvement does not end at the evaluation. He is present throughout your course of care.
